Screwdriver bit holder YATO YT-1501 Chromium-Vanadium Steel Cr-V, 25.4/4 mm (1/4"), length 48 mm
YATO YT-1501 is a screwdriver bit holder manufactured from Chromium-Vanadium steel (Cr-V) with a hex shank of 25.4/4 mm (1/4") and an overall length of 48 mm. The holder is designed to accept standard 1/4" bits and to be used with hand drivers or powered screwdrivers and drills that accept a 1/4" hex shank. Its compact length and Cr-V construction focus on strength and wear resistance for routine assembly, maintenance and repair tasks.
The Cr-V steel construction provides a balance of hardness and toughness for repeated use and improved resistance to deformation. The 1/4" hex shank ensures compatibility with a wide range of standard bits and quick-change chucks. At 48 mm overall length the bit holder combines compact dimensions with sufficient reach for many confined or general fastening applications, while the precise hex interface helps reduce wobble and improve torque transfer.
Insert a standard 1/4" screwdriver bit into the bit holder until it seats securely. Fit the 1/4" hex shank of the holder into the chuck or quick-change socket of your hand driver or power tool. Apply steady pressure and appropriate torque for the screw type and material; avoid excessive force that could damage the bit or holder. Remove the bit by pulling it out of the holder or using the tool’s bit-release mechanism where available.
Use appropriate bit types and sizes for the fasteners to preserve the holder and bits. Inspect the holder and bits regularly for wear or damage and replace worn components to maintain secure retention and safe operation. When using power tools, select torque settings suitable for the fastener and workpiece to prevent over-torqueing.
