Needle-nose pliers YATO YT-1943, chromium-vanadium steel, 160 mm, PP/TPR handles
YATO YT-1943 needle-nose pliers are precision hand tools made from chromium-vanadium steel with a total length of 160 mm. The slim, elongated jaws allow access to confined areas and provide accurate gripping, bending and positioning of small components. Ergonomic handles feature a polypropylene (PP) core with thermoplastic rubber (TPR) overmolding to improve grip control and reduce hand fatigue during repetitive tasks.
The chromium-vanadium steel construction offers strength and wear resistance for reliable performance in frequent use. The 160 mm length balances reach and control for delicate operations. Overmolded PP/TPR handles combine a firm internal core with a soft outer layer for secure handling, slip resistance and improved comfort. Precision-ground jaws ensure consistent alignment and a secure hold on small parts.
Hold the pliers by the ergonomic PP/TPR handles and position the needle-nose tips around the target component. Apply steady pressure to grip, bend or extract small parts while maintaining visual control of the tip alignment. Use the extended reach of the 160 mm body to access recessed areas; avoid applying excessive torque that could deform the jaws. Keep the cutting edges (if present) away from hardened materials not intended for the tool.
For prolonged service life, clean the pliers after use, remove debris from the jaw hinge, and apply light lubrication to the pivot joint. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion and do not use the pliers as a hammer or pry bar. Choose the YATO YT-1943 needle-nose pliers for tasks requiring precise access and controlled gripping.
