The Yato YT-2074 adjustable wrench is a 300 mm hand tool designed for gripping and turning nuts, bolts and fittings across a range of sizes. Manufactured by YATO, this single-piece adjustable wrench features a Swedish-style head and a millimeter scale on the jaws to simplify quick adjustment. Constructed from heat-treated carbon steel with a black finish, the tool is intended for general mechanical, installation and maintenance tasks that require a durable, easy-to-adjust spanner.
The wrench offers precise jaw adjustment thanks to a finely machined worm and a permanently applied millimeter scale on the jaw face, which speeds up setting to the required size. Heat-treated carbon steel construction and hardened working surfaces increase wear resistance and tool life, while the black finish reduces corrosion and glare. The 300 mm length provides a good balance between reach and leverage, and the maximum jaw opening of 34 mm covers a wide range of fastener sizes without changing tools.
Select the wrench and open the jaws by turning the adjustment worm until the jaw gap slightly exceeds the fastener width. Place the jaws squarely on the nut or bolt head, then tighten the worm until the jaws fit snugly against the sides of the fastener. Apply steady turning force using the handle; avoid sudden shocks that could damage the worm or jaws. After use, wipe the tool clean and store it in a dry place to preserve the finish and prevent corrosion.
For best results, use the wrench within its maximum jaw opening of 34 mm and ensure the jaws are properly seated before applying high torque. Do not use the tool as a hammer or pry bar. Periodically inspect the adjustment mechanism and jaws for wear; lubricate the worm with light oil if adjustment becomes stiff.
