The Yato YT-22376 hand reamer is a caliper-style tool for restoring and preparing PEX-AL-PEX and PERT-AL-PERT composite pipes with a nominal diameter of 20 mm. It reshapes flattened pipe profiles after cutting and removes internal and external burrs to ensure a round cross-section and a smooth edge for leak-free fitting installation.

How to use

After cutting the pipe square, insert the Yato hand reamer into the pipe end and rotate or advance it as required so the internal and external blades contact the pipe wall. Work the tool evenly around the circumference until the pipe regains a round cross-section and the cut edge is smooth. Remove any debris and check that the fitting can be fully inserted before pressing.
