Manual screwdriver YATO YT-25908 — handheld screwdriver, 1 pc
YATO YT-25908 is a manual handheld flat screwdriver supplied as a single piece. It is designed for driving and removing slotted screws in general repair, assembly and maintenance tasks. The tool combines a hardened S2 steel blade with a durable multi-density handle to provide a basic, non-powered fastening solution suitable for workshop, household and professional use.
The blade of the YATO YT-25908 is made of S2 tool steel and hardened to approximately 58 HRC for increased wear resistance. The working tip is additionally hardened and sandblasted to improve tip stability and reduce slipping in the screw slot. The satin-finished blade surface resists minor corrosion and reduces glare during use. The handle is constructed from materials with different hardness levels to ensure a comfortable grip and controlled torque transfer while minimising hand fatigue during repetitive tasks.
Select a YATO YT-25908 flat screwdriver whose tip width matches the screw slot. Place the tip firmly into the slot, apply axial pressure to keep the tip seated, and turn the handle clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. Maintain steady pressure and correct alignment to avoid cam‑out and damage to the screw head. Use the screwdriver for manual operations only and avoid applying excessive torque beyond hand force to prevent blade or tip damage.
Inspect the tip before use and replace the tool if the tip is visibly worn or deformed. For tasks requiring higher torque or powered fastening, use an appropriate powered driver or impact tool. Clean the blade after use and store the screwdriver in a dry place to preserve the satin finish and prevent corrosion.
