Masonry drill bit set YATO YT-4166, 8 mm diameter, 10 pieces
YATO YT-4166 is a set of ten 8 mm masonry drill bits designed for making precise holes in concrete, brick and natural stone. Each bit in the set has a working length suitable for general anchoring and fastening tasks and is intended for use with rotary hammer drills that accept SDS Plus shanks. The set supplies multiple identical bits to support repetitive drilling operations, on-site replacements and renovation projects where consistent hole diameter and reliable breakage-free performance are required.
The set contains ten identical 8 mm diameter masonry bits that ensure uniform hole sizes and reduce tool changes during extended work. SDS Plus shanks provide secure, vibration-resistant connection to compatible hammer drills and facilitate quick bit changes. Hardened and bronze-finished bodies deliver increased wear resistance and maintain drilling performance in abrasive materials. The standardized length offers a balance between reach and rigidity for anchor and dowel installation.
Fit an SDS Plus bit into the rotary hammer chuck until it locks, select rotary hammer mode suitable for masonry, and mark the drilling point. Start drilling with light pressure to establish the hole, then apply steady, even pressure while allowing the drill’s impact action to do the work. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust and improve cutting efficiency. Use appropriate anchor or dowel size that corresponds to the 8 mm hole diameter.
Always wear eye, hearing and respiratory protection when drilling masonry. Use dust extraction or periodic clearing to reduce airborne silica. Match the drill mode and speed to the material and avoid excessive axial force to prevent premature bit wear. Store bits in a dry place and replace worn bits to maintain clean hole dimensions and safe fastening performance.
