Wire wheel brush YATO YT-47792, diameter 100 mm, 1 piece, wheel/rotary brush with shank
YATO YT-47792 is a 100 mm diameter wire wheel brush supplied as a single unit and designed for use with rotary tools and small bench grinders via its integrated shank. The brush is intended for mechanical surface preparation tasks on metal, including removal of rust, paint, scale and light burrs. Its compact diameter makes it suitable for working in confined areas and on smaller components where a full-size wheel would be impractical.
The wire wheel brush provides consistent abrasive action across the wheel face and allows controlled material removal when mounted on rotary equipment. Its shank-mounted design ensures secure fitting in chucks and collets, enabling use with hand-held rotary tools and small bench grinders. Because the brush is supplied as a single piece, it is easy to store and replace as needed without additional adapters.
This compact 100 mm wire wheel brush is not intended for heavy stock removal on large surfaces or for use as a replacement for larger diameter industrial grinding wheels. It may also be unsuitable for delicate or soft materials where wire abrasives could cause excessive surface damage.
Install the brush by securing its shank in the tool chuck or collet according to the rotary tool or grinder manufacturer’s instructions. Check that the brush is centered and tightened, and ensure the tool is switched off during mounting. Operate the tool at the recommended speed range for wire brushes, holding the workpiece securely and applying light, even pressure. Move the brush steadily across the surface to avoid gouging; allow the brush action to remove material rather than forcing it. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection if working on painted or rusty surfaces.
Use the 100 mm wire wheel brush for light to moderate surface cleaning tasks on metal, choosing matching tool speed and gentle pressure. Replace the brush when wires become worn or uneven to maintain consistent results and to reduce the risk of tool vibration or workpiece damage.
