C-clamp YATO YT-64191, cast iron and galvanized steel, depth 203 mm, height 76 mm, black
YATO YT-64191 is a C-clamp designed to provide steady clamping force for woodworking, metalworking and assembly tasks. Constructed from cast iron with galvanized steel components and finished in black, the clamp offers a clamping depth of 203 mm and a height of 76 mm. Its compact, robust design delivers consistent pressure for positioning, gluing and light welding operations while resisting corrosion on moving parts thanks to the galvanized elements.
The combination of cast iron body and galvanized steel components ensures structural rigidity and wear resistance under repeated use. A 203 mm clamping depth accommodates larger workpieces compared with standard small clamps, while the 76 mm height provides adequate throat clearance for many common setups. The black finish reduces visible wear and the durable materials provide stable pressure without excessive flexing.
Position the C-clamp so the workpiece sits fully within the throat and align the clamping face with the surface to be held. Turn the threaded screw clockwise to apply pressure until the workpiece is secure; avoid over-tightening which can deform softer materials. To release, rotate the screw counterclockwise until the clamp clears the workpiece. Check that the contact surfaces are clean and free of debris before clamping to ensure even pressure distribution.
For reliable performance, periodically inspect the threaded screw and swivel pad for wear and corrosion. Apply light lubrication to the screw thread if movement becomes stiff. Use protective pads between the clamp faces and finished surfaces to prevent marring when working with delicate materials.
