How to use

Install and power the W80B base stations and connect them to the data network. In multicast environments the system supports zero‑touch provisioning so base stations register automatically; in non‑multicast networks set the DECT Manager IP on the base station web interface. Register Yealink DECT handsets (W53H, W56H, CP930W or DD Phone) to the system through the base station or DECT Manager. Use the DECT Manager web portal to configure SIP accounts, manage handsets, monitor status and apply firmware updates. For large deployments, use Yealink’s Deployment ToolKit to plan base station placement and coverage.

Usage recommendations

For optimal coverage, perform a site survey and position base stations to provide overlapping cell boundaries for seamless handover; use the Deployment ToolKit and enable grayscale upgrades to reduce disruption during firmware updates. Ensure SIP transport uses TLS and enable SRTP for media to maintain secure communications.
