VoIP telephone adapter Yeastar TA100
The Yeastar TA100 VoIP telephone adapter provides one analog FXS interface to convert existing analog telephones, fax machines and other analog equipment to IP-based networks. Designed for residential users and small businesses, the TA100 supports common voice codecs (G.168, G.711, G.729A, G.729B) and fax protocols (T.31, T.38) to ensure reliable audio and fax transmission. It is compact (58 mm x 85 mm x 24 mm) and can be powered via a 5V 1A USB source or directly from compatible IP-PBX power options.
The TA100 offers a feature-rich set of VoIP capabilities while remaining cost-effective and easy to deploy. Web-based configuration provides a straightforward setup process, reducing installation time. Compact dimensions save desk or shelf space, and compatibility with standard network protocols (FTP, TFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, UDP, TCP, TLS, SRTP) supports secure and flexible integration with both Yeastar and third-party IP phone systems.
Connect an analog telephone or fax to the FXS port, then link the TA100 to your IP network via Ethernet. Access the web-based configuration interface using the device IP address to enter SIP account and network settings. Select appropriate codecs and fax protocol (T.31 or T.38) according to your service requirements, and save the configuration. After registration with your IP-PBX or SIP provider, make test calls and adjust audio or security settings as needed.
Use G.711 for best voice quality when bandwidth permits and G.729 variants to conserve bandwidth. For reliable fax transmission, enable T.38 when both endpoints and the network support it; otherwise use T.31. Ensure firmware is kept up to date and secure web access with HTTPS or SSH for remote management.
