Flash unit Yongnuo YN6 Micro – compact on-camera flash, black
The Yongnuo YN6 Micro is a compact on-camera flash in black designed to give photographers a portable and easy-to-use light source. It mounts directly to the camera hotshoe and delivers both direct and bounce lighting for stills, portraits and event photography. The small form factor and lightweight construction make this flash suitable for travel and street photography where minimal bulk is important.
The unit combines compact dimensions with a functional flash head that supports conventional on-camera positioning and bounce off ceilings or walls. Its lightweight design reduces fatigue during long shoots and simplifies handheld and run-and-gun workflows. The black finish integrates unobtrusively with most camera bodies and accessories.
Attach the Yongnuo YN6 Micro to the camera hotshoe and secure the locking mechanism. Power the unit according to the manufacturer's instructions and set the flash mode and output level on the unit or via the camera menu if supported. For softer light, angle the flash head to bounce light off a ceiling or wall. For direct fill, point the head toward the subject and adjust output to balance with ambient exposure. When not in use, detach the flash and store it in a protective pouch to avoid impact or dust.
Use the flash at moderate power settings to conserve battery life and reduce recycling time. Combine bounce lighting with exposure compensation to achieve natural-looking results in portraits. Maintain a clear line of sight between flash and bounce surface; avoid reflective surfaces that can create hotspots.
