How to use

Cut a suitable length of heat-shrink tube label and print the required information with a compatible DYMO Industrial thermal transfer printer. Slide the printed sleeve over the wire, terminal or component so the print faces outward. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun or controlled heat source until the tubing contracts uniformly and conforms tightly to the substrate. Allow to cool before handling to ensure adhesion and legibility.

Usage recommendations

For consistent results, use thermal transfer ribbon and settings recommended by DYMO for the IND material. Apply heat from a distance that avoids scorching insulation; rotate the wire or move the heat gun to achieve even shrinkage. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve printability and adhesion.
