Zilner ZL-7075 marble-coated roasting pan / casserole 5.5 L, 32 cm
The Zilner ZL-7075 marble-coated roasting pan / casserole has a 5.5 L capacity and a 32 cm diameter, designed for both stovetop and oven use. The marble non-stick coating provides a smooth cooking surface that reduces food sticking and simplifies cleaning. Constructed for even heat distribution, this pan is intended to support roasting, braising and stewing for family-size portions.
The marble-coated interior offers improved release properties compared with uncoated metal surfaces and requires less oil for many recipes. The combination of sturdy walls and a flat base promotes stable heat transfer on gas, electric and ceramic hobs as well as in conventional ovens. The 5.5 L volume accommodates larger dishes while the 32 cm diameter provides an even cooking area, making the pan suitable for multi-portion meals and combined cooking techniques.
Before first use, wash the pan with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Use medium or low heat settings to preserve the non-stick marble coating and avoid rapid temperature changes. For stovetop-to-oven recipes, brown ingredients on the hob then transfer the pan to a preheated oven according to the recipe. Use silicone, wooden or nylon utensils to protect the coating and avoid metal tools that can scratch the surface. Clean after use with a soft sponge and mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh scrubbing.
To extend the life of the marble coating, avoid overheating an empty pan and allow the pan to cool slightly before washing. For best results when roasting or braising, sear at moderate heat, then reduce temperature and finish covered if the recipe requires long, moist cooking.
