Description

The ZKSoftware INBIO160 is a compact black security access control system with four channels, designed for reliable door and access management. It uses on-board biometric matching and accepts fingerprint templates from FR Series readers via RS-485, while also supporting Wiegand inputs for traditional RFID readers. The controller supports TCP/IP and RS-485 communication, installs easily on a network and includes an auto-discovery tool for direct modification of network parameters. Firmware can be upgraded in the field and data is preserved on the on-board SD card so the controller continues to operate if power or network connection is interrupted.

Advantages

The INBIO160 performs internal fingerprint matching for fast and accurate identification and reduces dependence on continuous network connectivity by storing templates and events locally. It offers programmable auxiliary relays for additional control of lights, alarms, annunciators, intrusion panels or extra locking devices. Multiple hardware sizes (1-, 2- and 4-door models) allow system optimization to match project needs, lowering unused capacity and overall cost. Advanced access-control features such as Anti-Passback, First-Card Opening, Multi-Card Opening and Duress Password Entry are built into the controller firmware.

Install the INBIO160 in a suitable enclosure location and connect network (TCP/IP) and/or RS-485 lines for reader communication. Attach FR Series fingerprint readers or Wiegand RFID readers to the appropriate inputs, configure network parameters using the auto-discovery tool, and enroll fingerprint templates and card users into the controller database. Program auxiliary relays and access-control rules (Anti-Passback, first-card opening, multi-card opening, duress codes) through the management software or SDK.
