Standalone access controller ZKTECO PRO-V2-2, 13.56 MHz Mifare, IP65
Standalone access controller ZKTECO PRO-V2-2 is a weather-resistant RFID card reader with an integrated controller operating at 13.56 MHz for Mifare cards. Designed for standalone access control, the unit supports card and PIN authentication, local storage of up to 5,000 users and integration with electric locks, door sensors, exit buttons and alarms. The metal housing is rated IP65 and functions in temperatures from -10 °C to +60 °C, allowing indoor or outdoor installation.
The device combines an RFID reader and controller in a single compact unit, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for a central server. It supports both card and 4–6 digit password authentication and stores up to 5,000 credentials. Programmable timing parameters include control delay, lock release time and alarm delay. Configurable Wiegand output (26 or 34 bit) ensures compatibility with many access control systems. The IP65 metal enclosure provides resistance to dust and water and is adapted for a wide operating temperature range.
Mount the controller in a suitable indoor or outdoor location with access to the required power supply (9–14 V DC). Connect the electric lock, door sensor, exit button and any auxiliary devices to the corresponding inputs and relay outputs per the installation manual. Enroll user Mifare cards and, if required, program 4–6 digit passwords. Configure timing parameters (control delay, lock release time, alarm delay) and select Wiegand output format (26 or 34 bit) to match the rest of the access control system.
For reliable operation, install the unit where it is protected from direct impact and extreme environmental exposure, verify power supply stability within the specified voltage range, and perform regular checks of connections and registered users. Use compatible Mifare cards and confirm Wiegand format compatibility with the receiving controller.
