The Alantec MKN-U6-1 is an unshielded Cat.6 UTP keystone jack with an RJ45 connector, designed for indoor horizontal and vertical data network installations. It is a flat white module intended for user outlets and patch fields and can be mounted in panels, wall boxes or floor boxes using universal attachments. The module supports 568A/568B wiring and accepts AWG 22–26 conductors using an IDC (LSA) termination on a printed circuit board.

How to use

Terminate the network cable by placing conductors into the IDC slots following either the 568A or 568B color code, then press the wires into the IDC contacts using an appropriate punch-down tool. Insert the finished keystone module into a compatible keystone opening in a wall plate, patch panel or floor box until it snaps into place. Connect patch cords to the RJ45 front port as required.
