A-LAN PK012 1U Patch Panel U/UTP Black
The A-LAN PK012 is a 1U rack-mount patch panel engineered for professional network cable management within server racks and data centers. This unshielded solution is designed to provide a stable and organized termination point for U/UTP twisted pair cabling, ensuring reliable connectivity for structured cabling systems. Its robust construction and standardized design make it an essential component for maintaining order and performance in high-density networking environments.
This patch panel offers a high level of durability due to its solid plastic construction, which is designed to withstand the rigors of daily operation in server rooms. The unit supports a wide range of wire sizes from 22 to 26 AWG, providing flexibility for various networking setups. With a plug retention force of 50 N, it ensures that connections remain secure and resistant to accidental disconnections, contributing to the overall stability of the network infrastructure.
This patch panel is designed specifically for U/UTP unshielded cabling and is not suitable for environments requiring shielded (STP/FTP) connections to prevent electromagnetic interference. Additionally, it is intended for standard 1U rack-mount applications and may not fit in non-standard or wall-mount enclosures without appropriate adapters.
To install the A-LAN PK012, mount the panel into a standard 19-inch rack using the appropriate rack screws. Once secured, route your U/UTP cables to the rear of the panel. Terminate the cables according to the required wiring standard, ensuring that the wires are properly seated in the IDC contacts. After termination, secure the cables with cable ties to manage tension and ensure a clean installation. Finally, insert your patch cords into the front ports to complete the connection to your active networking equipment.
Usage recommendations: Always maintain proper cable bend radii during installation to prevent signal degradation. Periodically inspect the patch panel for any signs of physical damage or loose connections to ensure long-term network reliability.
