Power adapter Acefast A17 65W GaN USB Type-C, white
Acefast A17 65W GaN USB Type-C power adapter in white is a compact multi-function charger designed for laptops, tablets, smartphones and other USB-C devices. The adapter uses gallium nitride (GaN) components to increase efficiency and reduce size compared with conventional silicon chargers. It integrates a USB Type-C charging port with up to 60W output, a standard USB-A port (5W), and a built-in USB-C to HDMI adapter that supports video output up to 4K @ 60Hz. The unit is housed in fire-retardant PC material, includes a 1.8 m USB-C to USB-C cable and implements a range of protective measures for safe everyday use.
The Acefast A17 provides high power density in a compact enclosure thanks to GaN technology, allowing up to 60W from the USB-C port while keeping the charger relatively small and lightweight. It combines charging and display output in a single unit so you can power a laptop and simultaneously connect an external display via HDMI. Multiple fast‑charging protocols are supported, including PPS, Power Delivery and Quick Charge 3.0, and the adapter is equipped with protections against overheating, overvoltage, overload and electrostatic discharge. A 1.8 m USB-C cable (USB 3.2 Gen 2) is included for power and data/video transfer where supported.
Plug the adapter into an appropriate AC outlet and connect your device using the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable or a separate USB-A cable for the 5W port. For charging a laptop or device that requires higher power, use the USB-C port; the charger will negotiate the suitable voltage and current via PPS/PD protocols when supported by the device. To output video, connect an HDMI cable from the adapter's HDMI interface to the external display; ensure the host device supports USB-C video output (DisplayPort alternate mode). The charger can be used to charge one or two devices simultaneously, but total power distribution will follow device negotiation and port limits.
Use the supplied 1.8 m USB-C cable for high-power charging and video transfer when possible. Verify your laptop or device accepts USB-C video output before relying on the HDMI function. Avoid exposing the adapter to prolonged direct sunlight or excessive humidity, and unplug from the mains when not in use. If a device requires more than 60W, use a higher‑power charger designed for that device.
