Patch Panel 19" 1U 48cm ACT 24xUTP CAT.6
ACT Patch Panel 19" 1U 48cm with 24xUTP CAT.6 ports is a rack-mount termination panel designed to organize and manage copper Ethernet cabling in server rooms, telecom racks and data closets. The panel provides 24 RJ45 keystone ports compatible with CAT6 UTP cabling, enabling reliable gigabit connections and straightforward labeling and patching. Built to fit a standard 19-inch rack in a 1U height and a 48 cm front width, it offers a compact and predictable layout for structured cabling installations.
The patch panel simplifies cable management by concentrating terminations in a single rack-mounted unit and reducing cable clutter. It supports standard CAT6 UTP performance for 1 Gbps Ethernet and is compatible with typical punch-down termination tools and keystone jacks. The metal housing provides rack stability, while the front-row ports allow easy access for patch cords and labeling. Installation and future reconfiguration are faster due to the uniform port layout and clear port identification.
Mount the patch panel in a standard 19-inch rack using the included mounting points, occupying one rack unit (1U) of space. Route horizontal CAT6 UTP cables to the rear of the panel and terminate each conductor pair to the corresponding punch-down block or keystone module following color code standards. Attach patch cords to the front RJ45 ports to connect network equipment such as switches, routers and servers. Label ports clearly to reflect the connected endpoints for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
For consistent performance, use CAT6-rated patch cords and follow recommended cable management practices: keep cable runs within standard length limits, avoid sharp bends near terminations, and maintain separation from electrical interference sources. Periodically verify terminations and labeling during network changes to preserve organized patching and reliable connectivity.
