The ACT AC4451 Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter enables conversion between Gigabit Ethernet over fiber and Gigabit Ethernet over copper (RJ45). This unmanaged converter supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and includes an open SFP slot compatible with singlemode or multimode uncoded SFP transceivers. Link Fault Passthrough (LFP) is supported to detect and propagate link failures, and on-board DIP switches allow selection of different operating modes. The unit is compact and finished in black, with LED indicators for power and link/activity.
