KVM switch ACT AC7912 USB HDMI 4K Ultra HD
The ACT AC7912 2-port HDMI KVM switch allows control of two computers using a single HDMI monitor, one USB keyboard and one USB mouse. The HDMI output supports up to 4K@60Hz (3840 x 2160) and the unit includes USB 3.2 Gen1 ports for sharing peripherals. The package contains required cables, IR remote, RS-232 connector and mounting brackets; the power input is secured with a screw lock to avoid accidental disconnection.
The AC7912 supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.3 and provides an EDID emulator to ensure correct display information. It offers multiple switching methods — front-panel button, IR remote, keyboard hotkeys, mouse control and RS-232 commands — and features automatic input switching to detect the active computer. Four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports enable 5 Gbps peripheral connectivity, and a 3.5 mm audio jack provides audio output.
Connect each computer to the KVM switch via HDMI and connect a single HDMI monitor to the output. Plug a USB keyboard and mouse into the switch’s USB ports and attach any additional USB peripherals to the available USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. Connect power and secure the connector using the screw lock. Use the front-panel button, IR remote, keyboard hotkeys, mouse, or RS-232 commands to switch between the two connected computers. The device can also detect and switch automatically to the active input.
For reliable 4K@60Hz performance, use high-quality HDMI 2.0 cables and ensure connected computers support HDMI 2.0 and the required graphics output. Maintain updated drivers on connected systems to ensure proper EDID communication and HDCP compliance.
