The ACT DisplayPort Active Optical Cable (AOC) AK4037 is a 70-metre DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable designed to transmit high-quality video and audio over long distances without data loss. It uses a hybrid multimode optical fibre and copper construction to deliver reliable signals for monitors, projectors and computers in large rooms or installations while remaining flexible and supplied coiled for easy routing and installation.

Advantages

This DisplayPort active optical cable supports up to 4K at 60 Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma and implements HBR (High Bit Rate) signalling up to 5.4 Gbps per lane for a total bandwidth of 21.6 Gbps. It is compatible with DisplayPort 1.2a and supports HDCP 1.1 and HDCP 1.3. The hybrid design transmits AUX and hot-plug signals over copper conductors while video and main data travel over multimode optical fibre, providing long-range transmission without signal degradation.
