Patch Cable ACT Green 3 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 is a slimline CAT6 patch cord with a 3.8 mm diameter that reduces cable bulk in racks and improves airflow in datacenter cabinets. The cable has snagless RJ45 connectors, a 3 m length and U/UTP construction (unshielded twisted pair with overall no shielding) suitable for high-speed Ethernet patching in network racks.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter provides a smaller bending radius and lower profile than standard 5.9 mm CAT6 patch cords, enabling denser cable management and improved cabinet cooling. LSZH jacket material reduces hazardous smoke and toxic gas in case of fire. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation and maintenance.

How to use

ACT recommends shorter permanent link lengths compared with standard 24 AWG patch cords. For PoE installations limit bundle sizes to a maximum of 24 cables to reduce temperature rise; follow ANSI TSB-184-A guidance to keep the centre-cable temperature increase under 15 °C above ambient.
