Patch Cable ACT Green 0.25m LSZH U/UTP CAT6
The ACT Green 0.25m LSZH U/UTP CAT6 patch cable is a slimline datacenter Ethernet cable designed for short connections in confined spaces. With a 3.8 mm diameter it is noticeably thinner than regular CAT6 patch cords, which reduces bend radius and improves airflow inside equipment cabinets. The cable uses LSZH jacket material and snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for reliable connectivity at high speeds.
The slim 28 AWG construction allows denser cable routing and better cooling in racks compared with standard 24 AWG patchcords. The LSZH jacket reduces harmful smoke and corrosive gases in case of fire. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts and a snagless boot support stable connections in patching environments. Note that the thinner conductor increases attenuation at higher frequencies, so link length planning should account for this.
Install the patch cable between compatible RJ45 ports on switches, patch panels or devices. Route the cable following rack management practices to maintain bend radii and airflow; avoid tight bends tighter than the cable’s specified radius. For Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments, keep individual bundle sizes moderate to limit temperature rise.
Because 28 AWG slimline cables exhibit higher attenuation than standard 24 AWG cables, ACT recommends using shorter permanent link lengths and limiting PoE bundle sizes (maximum ~24 cables) to reduce temperature increase in the centre cables in a bundle.
