SFTP CAT6A patch cable ACT Orange 5.00 meter
The ACT Orange 5.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a high-performance network cable designed for reliable data transmission over Ethernet networks. With a 5 m length and S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable connections in environments with multiple cables and electronic devices. Snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts provide consistent signal integrity and ease of installation in patch panels, switches, routers and wall outlets.
The S/FTP construction combines an overall braid with individually shielded pairs to minimize external noise and internal pair-to-pair interference. CAT6A specification allows for higher bandwidth and improved performance over standard CAT5e and CAT6 cables, suitable for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet at appropriate distances. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the clip during routing and installation, while gold-plated contacts deliver corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity for long-term use.
Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the clip clicks into place, ensuring correct orientation and secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, high-tension pulls and proximity to large power cables to maintain shielding effectiveness. For connections through patch panels or keystone jacks, align the plug and avoid forcing the connector to prevent damage to the clip or contacts. When disconnecting, press the clip to release the connector rather than pulling on the cable jacket.
For optimal performance, use this CAT6A S/FTP patch cable for runs up to 5 m within the same room or rack; maintain bend radius recommendations (typically four times the cable diameter) and avoid running the cable in direct parallel with high-voltage power lines. Store unused cables coiled loosely to prevent kinks and inspect connectors periodically for debris or damage.
