Patch Cable ACT Black 5 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A
The ACT Black 5 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a Category 6A network cable designed for high-speed data transmission over a 5 m run. It uses full copper AWG#26 conductors, LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket material and S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference. Snagless RJ45 connectors with 50µ gold-plated contacts ensure secure connections and reliable signal transfer for Ethernet installations in offices, server rooms and structured cabling systems.
This cable provides enhanced performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-bandwidth applications thanks to CAT6A construction and S/FTP shielding. The full copper AWG#26 conductors and 50µ gold-plated RJ45 contacts deliver consistent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emissions in case of fire, and the snagless connector design protects the plug latch during installation and reconfiguration. All cables are 100% tested and the product meets ACT specifications verified by an independent certification institute.
Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device (switch, router or network card) and the other RJ45 plug to the intended endpoint such as a patch panel or workstation. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable. For structured cabling, route the cable alongside other network runs while maintaining appropriate separation from power cables to reduce interference. The LSZH jacket makes it suitable for indoor use where low smoke emissions are required.
For optimal performance, avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and do not exceed the 5 m intended run for critical links. Use the ACT Black CAT6A patch cable for short horizontal connections, between patch panels and switches, or for workstation links where 10 Gbps throughput and reduced EMI are required. If routing through conduits or tight spaces, verify connector clearance and protect connectors with appropriate strain relief where necessary.
