ACT FB8102 is a 2 m Cat8 U/FTP (STP) slimline datacenter patch cable with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends. It supports a maximum bandwidth of 2000 MHz (40 Gbit/s) and is manufactured with full copper conductors and gold-plated RJ‑45 contacts. The slim 5 mm jacket and LSZH material make it suitable for dense rack installations where airflow and reduced smoke/toxic gas emission are important. All cables comply with international standards and are 100% tested.

When it may not be suitable

This cable uses 30 AWG conductors, which are thinner than the 22–28 AWG range referenced in some ISO/IEC and TIA guidelines. As a result, attenuation is higher, particularly at higher frequencies, so for the longest links or applications requiring the lowest possible attenuation you may prefer thicker-gauge cables. Also, if flame-retardant PVC jacket properties are specifically required, the LSZH jacket may not match that preference.
