Patch Cable ACT Black 1 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A
The ACT Black 1 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a 1 m network cable engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission. Built to the Cat6a standard, it supports enhanced bandwidth and reduced crosstalk for demanding Ethernet applications. The cable uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, and its Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket reduces harmful gas emissions in the event of fire, making it suitable for enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces. The black outer sheath offers a neutral appearance suitable for professional and home installations.
The S/FTP shielding arrangement combines an overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs to limit electromagnetic interference and improve signal integrity in congested cabling environments. The Cat6a specification supports higher frequencies than Cat6, enabling more stable throughput for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links at short to medium distances. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and toxic gas release during thermal decomposition, which increases safety in locations where ventilation is limited. Standard RJ-45 terminations provide broad compatibility with network switches, routers, patch panels and NICs.
Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (switch, router, or NIC) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible. When routing in structured cabling, label both ends if required for easy identification.
Use the ACT Cat6a S/FTP LSZH patch cable for short to medium runs where 1 m length is sufficient. Prefer LSZH jackets in enclosed or poorly ventilated environments to reduce the risk from smoke and halogen gases. Verify connector seating and test links with a cable tester after installation to confirm performance and continuity.
