Patchpanel 24-ports unshielded CAT6 ACT PP1010
The ACT Patchpanel 24-ports unshielded CAT6 PP1010 is a 1U rack-mount panel that organizes and terminates up to 24 unshielded CAT6 connections. Designed for structured cabling in server rooms, office networks and small to medium data centres, the panel provides a central point for cable management and reduces clutter by grouping multiple cable terminations into a single, accessible unit. The black finish blends with standard rack equipment while offering a compact footprint for efficient use of rack space.
The 24-port unshielded CAT6 patch panel supports Category 6 cabling performance for reliable high-speed data transmission and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category panels. Its standard 19-inch width and 1U height enable straightforward installation into common server racks. The panel simplifies network changes and troubleshooting by providing clearly labelled ports and a consistent termination point for horizontal cabling runs. Its unshielded design is suitable for typical office and data centre environments where separate cable management and good installation practices minimize interference.
Mount the panel into a standard 19-inch rack occupying 1U of space. Terminate each horizontal CAT6 cable onto the rear connector or IDC according to the T568A or T568B wiring standard, ensuring consistent wiring across the installation. Use cable ties or a rear cable management bar to secure and route cable bundles, keeping separation from power cabling to reduce interference. Connect active network devices using short patch cords to the front RJ45 ports for easy access and reconfiguration.
For optimal performance, use certified CAT6 cables and follow industry best practices for cable separation, pair untwist management and proper bending radius. Label both ends of each cable to speed up maintenance and avoid mixing wiring standards across the network.
