ACT Multimode Fiber Optic Cable 40m OM3 with 8 fibers and LC connectors is a ready-to-use pre-terminated fiber cable designed for indoor and outdoor installations. With a 50 µm core (OM3) and eight fibers terminated with LC connectors, this 40-meter cable is suitable for high-speed data links between rooms, floors or buildings. Each cable is factory-tested and delivered with an individual test report, eliminating the need for connector termination on site.

Advantages

Pre-terminated ACT cables remove the need for investment in termination tools and test equipment because connectors are factory-fitted and every cable is individually tested. The cable offers low attenuation with an average of 0.10 dB and a maximum of 0.15 dB, providing margin in optical budgets. Mechanically, the design protects connectors and fanout with a transparent tube on both ends, withstands pulling forces up to 350 N and has an 18 mm protective hose for easy installation through conduits.
