Fiber Patch Cable Duplex LC ST 1m ACT RL7001
The ACT Fiber Patch Cable Duplex LC ST 1m RL7001 is a 1-metre multimode fiber jumper designed for short-range networking connections. Constructed with OM1 62.5/125 µm fiber and terminated with duplex LC and ST connectors, this patch cable provides a compact LC interface on one end and a bayonet-style ST connector on the other. The cable jacket is made from LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material for reduced smoke and toxic gas emission in the event of fire, making it suitable for indoor installations where safety and regulatory compliance are required.
The cable supports multimode transmission on OM1 fiber, offering low insertion loss and reliable signal integrity for typical LAN and building backbone links. Its duplex LC to ST termination allows compatibility between equipment using small-form-factor LC ports and legacy devices or transceivers that use ST connectors. The LSZH jacket improves safety in enclosed spaces and helps meet building safety standards while maintaining flexibility and ease of routing in cable management systems.
Install the ACT Duplex LC–ST patch cable by inserting the duplex LC end into the LC receptacle of the source device and seating the ST connector into the target device’s ST socket with a 90-degree twist to engage the bayonet. Handle the fiber ends carefully to avoid contamination; keep protective dust caps on connectors until final insertion and clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable through cable management trays or ducts without sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation or damage.
For best performance, use this multimode OM1 cable for short-distance links and pair it with compatible multimode transceivers. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius, protect connector endfaces from dust, and verify link performance after installation using appropriate fiber test equipment.
