Fiber Patch Cable Duplex LC ST 30m ACT RL7530
The ACT Fiber Patch Cable Duplex LC ST 30m RL7530 is a 30-metre multimode fiber patch cable designed for indoor network connections. Constructed with 50/125 OM2 multimode fiber and terminated with an LC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other in duplex configuration, this cable supports high-speed data transmission and full-duplex communication. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces toxic and corrosive emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed spaces such as data centres, server rooms and office cabling routes.
The cable combines multimode OM2 core dimensions with a duplex LC–ST termination to provide reliable short- to medium-distance connectivity. The LSZH jacket lowers the risk of hazardous fumes in confined indoor environments. Standardised connector types ensure compatibility with a wide range of network equipment and transceivers. Its 30 m length offers extended reach for linking racks, switches, patch panels and floor boxes without additional splicing.
Identify the LC and ST ends and verify they match the ports on your equipment. Ensure both connector endfaces are clean before insertion to prevent signal loss; use appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable along cable trays or within conduit to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fiber. Plug the LC connector into an LC duplex receptacle and the ST connector into the ST-style socket or adapter. After installation, test the link with appropriate optical test equipment to confirm signal integrity and insertion loss within acceptable limits.
Store and install the cable in dry indoor environments away from sources of excessive heat. Avoid kinking or crushing the cable and keep bend radii gentle to preserve optical performance. When higher bandwidth or longer reach is required, consider singlemode or a higher-grade multimode (OM3/OM4) solution. For critical runs, perform end-to-end testing and label both ends to simplify maintenance.
