The ACT Industrial SC4801 is a 0.3 m Cat6a network cable with RJ45 male connectors on both ends, intended for industrial Ethernet and Profinet connections. The cable uses SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission. Its sheath and overmoulded connectors are made of TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomer), providing mechanical strength and resistance to movement in cable chains.

Advantages

The Superflex SF/UTP construction combines a braided shield with individual untwisted pairs to deliver improved protection against interference while maintaining high data throughput for Cat6a performance. The TPE sheath and overmoulded connectors increase resistance to mechanical stress and frequent bending. Each conductor is formed from 28 fine copper strands (AWG26 equivalent), resulting in greater flexibility compared with standard AWG24/7 patch cables. IP67-rated connectors provide protection against dust and temporary immersion.
