Keystone coupler LC duplex MM/SM ACT TD4101
The ACT Keystone coupler LC duplex MM/SM TD4101 provides a compact, panel-mountable interface for LC duplex fiber connections. Its flat keystone form factor and blue/white finish enable tidy installation in patch panels, wall plates and enclosures. The coupler accepts LC duplex plugs and supports both multimode and singlemode LC terminations, allowing integration with mixed fiber infrastructures while maintaining reliable optical alignment and low insertion loss.
The keystone design offers tool-free snap-in installation into compatible housings and faceplates, reducing assembly time. LC duplex ports deliver high-density connectivity with precise ferrule alignment to minimize signal loss. The flat profile saves space in racks and outlet boxes, and the durable housing ensures stable mechanical retention for repeated insertions and removals. Color coding supports easy identification of connector type and fiber mode.
Install the keystone coupler by pressing it into a compatible keystone aperture in a panel or wall plate until it snaps into place. Insert LC duplex connectors from patch cords into the ports until a positive click indicates secure engagement. Ensure fiber connectors are clean before mating to avoid contamination that could affect optical performance. For removal, depress the retention tab and pull the coupler or connector straight out to avoid disturbing adjacent ports.
Use a fiber inspection scope and lint-free wipes with approved cleaning solution before mating connectors. Match multimode fibers with multimode equipment and singlemode fibers with singlemode equipment to maintain expected transmission characteristics. Store unused couplers and cables in protective caps or covers to prevent dust ingress when not in service.
