KVM Extender Adder X200-USB/P-IEC
The ADDERLink X200-USB/P-IEC KVM extender enables remote keyboard, video, audio and mouse control for up to two computers over CAT5 (or higher) UTP cable to distances up to 300 m (1000 ft). The unit provides high-definition VGA video along with digital stereo audio and can act as a remote user station for ADDER CATx KVM switches.
The ADDERLink X200 delivers real-time keyboard and mouse responsiveness, industry-leading VGA resolutions with signal compensation and brightness control, and an integrated de-skew function on AS/R models to correct video skew on long CATx runs. Each receiver includes a two-port integrated KVM switch allowing quick selection between local and remote computers and stores individual video settings per connection. The extender fully supports DDC to preserve high-resolution modes and transmits 44.1 kHz digital stereo audio for clear sound.
Install the sender at the computer end and the receiver at the user end, interconnect them using CAT5 or better UTP cable up to the supported distance. Connect keyboard, mouse, VGA and audio cables to the appropriate ports on the sender and receiver. If using the receiver as a remote user station for an ADDER CATx KVM switch, attach the receiver to the switch per the switch documentation. Switch between connected computers using keyboard hotkeys or mouse control; individual video brightness, compensation and skew adjustments can be applied to each connection.
Use quality CAT5e or better UTP cable and maintain proper cable routing to minimize interference. For maximum resolution at longer distances, verify supported resolution-to-distance guidelines and enable DDC on connected video cards when required. Choose the AS/R model if de-skew correction for long cable runs is needed.
