Air Hose Spiral 8x12 mm 5 m Polyurethane with Fittings – Adler 0140.9
Adler Air Hose Spiral 8x12 mm 5 m Polyurethane with Fittings is a coiled pneumatic hose designed for compressed air delivery in workshops, garages and for pneumatic tools. The hose is made from polyurethane with an 8 mm inner diameter and 12 mm outer diameter and extends up to 5 m when uncoiled. Its spiral construction reduces tangling, saves storage space and returns to a compact shape after use, making it suitable for medium-pressure air lines and a range of general industrial or DIY pneumatic applications.
The polyurethane construction gives the hose high flexibility, good abrasion resistance and resistance to kinking compared with many PVC alternatives. The spiral design minimizes hose drag and tangling while providing automatic recoil for easier handling and storage. Supplied with fittings, the hose is ready to connect to standard pneumatic tool couplings and workshop air outlets, reducing setup time on the job. The 8 mm bore supports common air tool flow rates while the 5 m coil length balances reach and compactness.
Connect the supplied fittings to the workshop air outlet and the pneumatic tool coupling, ensuring all connections are tightened and sealed. Uncoil the hose to the required working length; the spiral will extend while in use and retract when released. Avoid sharp bends or sustained kinks and keep the hose away from hot surfaces or sharp edges. Inspect fittings and the hose surface for damage or wear before each use and replace if any deterioration is found.
Use the hose within the manufacturer’s recommended pressure range for medium-pressure pneumatic systems. Store the coiled hose indoors or in a dry, shaded area to preserve the polyurethane material. When working with solvents, oils or chemicals, verify compatibility with polyurethane and avoid prolonged exposure. Regularly check fittings for leaks and tighten or replace them as necessary to maintain efficient air delivery.
