The AJA OG-X-FR is a 2RU openGear rack frame designed to house up to 20 openGear cards. Built for professional broadcast and production environments, the OG-X-FR offers robust cooling, flexible I/O connectivity, dashboard control compatibility, and hot-swappable power to support high-density UltraHD, 12G‑SDI and IP card workloads.

Advantages

The frame provides strong cooling with integrated fans to maintain optimal operating temperatures for dense rack installations, extending module reliability and life. Smart control via DashBoard enables centralized setup, monitoring and custom workflows across openGear modules, while optional Advanced Networking adds DataSafe for automatic setting backup and restore. Front-loaded, hot‑swappable power supplies with status LEDs and individual fans deliver up to 600 W total system power and a high-power mode of 23 W per slot. A fold-down front panel allows quick access to modules for maintenance without removing the frame from the rack.
