Networking cable Alantec KKU6CZA3 Cat6 U/UTP (UTP) Black, 3 m, RJ-45–RJ-45
Alantec KKU6CZA3 Cat6 U/UTP (UTP) networking cable is a 3 m patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for Gigabit Ethernet and standard LAN use, this black Cat6 cable provides the electrical and transmission characteristics required for typical home and office network connections. It is suitable for making patch connections in distribution points and for subscriber connections, linking routers, switches, PCs and other network devices with a reliable Cat6 interface.
The cable’s U/UTP (commonly referred to as UTP) construction ensures unshielded twisted pairs that minimise crosstalk for predictable Cat6 performance. With RJ-45 connectors on each end and a 3 m length, it offers convenient reach for desktop and rack-mounted equipment without excess slack. The black jacket provides a neutral appearance for standard installations and the cable meets the typical electrical and mechanical requirements for Cat6 patch connections.
Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on network devices such as switches, routers or computers until the connector’s latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain gentle curves with a radius larger than the cable diameter to preserve signal integrity. For rack or cabinet installations, use cable management accessories to secure the cable and reduce strain on the connectors.
Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for short to medium-length patch connections within rooms or cabinets. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to strong sources of electromagnetic interference (motors, fluorescent lighting ballast, high-current power cables) to maintain optimal performance. For longer permanent runs or installations requiring additional protection against interference, consider shielded cable types and follow local cabling standards.
