How to use

Mount the panel in a standard 19-inch rack occupying 1U of space using the supplied fasteners. Terminate each incoming horizontal cable to the rear IDC connectors following the 568A or 568B color code and use an appropriate LSA-style punchdown tool for secure connections. Route patch cords from the front RJ45 ports to switches or other active equipment. Use the provided cable ties and included mounting hardware to secure cables and maintain service loops as recommended by structured cabling practices.

Usage recommendations

For best performance use certified Cat5e cables and perform continuity and performance tests after termination. In environments with significant electromagnetic interference, choose a shielded (STP) patch panel and corresponding shielded cabling.
