Patch panel 1U Alantec PK007, 24-port RJ45, AWG 22/26, black, rack-mount
The Alantec PK007 is a rack-mount 1U patch panel designed to organize and centralize Ethernet cabling in 19" racks. It provides 24 RJ45 ports and supports AWG 22–26 wiring, enabling neat termination and structured network patching in offices, server rooms and telecommunications cabinets. The panel is made of black plastic and is intended for standard rack installation to simplify connection management and labeling of network lines.
The patch panel offers 24 easily accessible RJ45 ports in a compact 1U form factor, conserving rack space while maintaining high port density. Support for AWG 22–26 cabling ensures compatibility with common twisted-pair Ethernet cables. Its black plastic construction reduces weight and resists corrosion compared with untreated metal, and the standard 19" rack-mount format allows quick installation and straightforward labeling of ports to streamline network administration.
Install the patch panel into a standard 19" rack space occupying 1U. Terminate each incoming network cable on the rear IDC or punch-down points according to the chosen wiring scheme (T568A or T568B). Route and secure cables to prevent strain on terminations, then connect the front RJ45 ports to switches or patch cords as required. Label each port clearly to match your network documentation and simplify future changes or troubleshooting.
For reliable performance, use compatible AWG 22–26 Ethernet cables and follow recommended punch-down practices. Maintain clear labeling and avoid excessive bending or tension on cables. Place the panel in an accessible rack position to facilitate maintenance and reduce downtime during reconfiguration.
