Patch panel Alantec PK032 — 24‑port U/UTP (UTP) RJ45, Cat5e, 0.5U, black
Alantec PK032 is a compact 24‑port patch panel for Cat5e structured cabling, offering RJ45 connections in a space-saving 0.5U housing. Designed for installation in standard racks and cabinets, the panel supports U/UTP (UTP) cable types and provides a tidy, rack-friendly front with 24 rear termination points for organized network patching and fast Ethernet connections.
The patch panel combines a low-profile 0.5U form factor with a full set of 24 RJ45 ports, enabling efficient use of rack space while maintaining a standard layout for horizontal and vertical cable runs. Black finish improves visual integration in server rooms and cabinets. Compatibility with Cat5e and U/UTP (UTP) cabling ensures interoperability with existing copper Ethernet installations and straightforward termination.
Mount the Alantec PK032 into a compatible rack or cabinet using standard screws for 0.5U panels. Terminate each incoming Cat5e cable to the corresponding rear IDC or punch-down block following the T568A or T568B wiring scheme used in your installation. Use patch cords to connect the front RJ45 ports to switches, routers or other active equipment. Label ports as needed to maintain clear identification and simplify maintenance.
For reliable performance, use Cat5e-rated U/UTP cables and appropriate punch-down tools, verify wiring consistency across the installation, and avoid overbending cables at termination points. When dense rack deployments are required, consider front-to-back airflow and cable routing to keep patch cords organized and accessible.
