Alcasa 8062-H150S is a 15 m Cat6a network cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is designed for 10GBase-T networks and supports data rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s. The cable has a black jacket and gold-plated contacts to ensure stable signal transmission for connections between switches, routers, servers and workstations in home and business LANs.
The S/FTP (S-STP) shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality. A 15 m length offers flexibility for typical office and home network layouts without intermediate patch panels.
This fixed-length 15 m cable is not suitable where a permanently installed structured cabling solution with different routing or conduit requirements is needed. It may also be excessive for very short links under 1 m where patch cords of smaller length are preferable.
Connect one RJ-45 connector to a network device (switch, router, server or workstation) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling or sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal performance.
For best performance, use Alcasa 8062-H150S for direct device-to-device links within 15 m, avoid tight bends, and keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and strong sources of interference.
