PoE converter ALFA APOE03G Gigabit Ethernet 802.3af (Alfa Network)
ALFA APOE03G Gigabit Ethernet 802.3af PoE converter by ALFA is designed to provide both data connectivity and power conversion for non-PoE network devices. The adapter receives IEEE 802.3af PoE over a single Cat5e/Cat6 cable and outputs a compatible DC power feed while passing Gigabit Ethernet data to the connected device. This enables powering cameras, access points and other equipment without separate power cabling, reducing installation complexity and preserving full 10/100/1000 Mbps link speeds.
The converter supports IEEE 802.3af power sourcing equipment and maintains Gigabit Ethernet throughput, delivering stable power conversion and uninterrupted network performance. Compact and easy to install, it eliminates the need for additional power outlets near the powered device and simplifies cable routing. Built to integrate with standard PoE switches and injectors, the unit provides reliable power delivery compatible with a wide range of networked devices.
Connect an Ethernet cable from a PoE-capable switch or injector to the APOE03G PoE input. Then connect the device-facing Ethernet port to the network device to carry data. Use the converter’s DC output to connect the device’s power input if required. Ensure the powered device’s voltage and current requirements match the converter’s output capability. After connections are secure, enable the PoE source or power on the injector/switch to supply power and establish the network link.
Verify device power requirements before installation and use short high-quality Cat5e/Cat6 cables for reliable Gigabit performance. Avoid exposing the converter to direct moisture or extreme temperatures and place it in a ventilated location to maintain stable operation.
