Brass Hose Connector Alkotest ZZ2034 GZ 3/4" to FI 20×3/4"
Alkotest ZZ2034 is a brass hose connector designed to join a male GZ 3/4" threaded fitting to a female FI 20×3/4" connection. The adapter provides a secure mechanical transition between a 20 mm hose or pipe and a standard 3/4" threaded system, and is manufactured from brass for corrosion resistance and dimensional stability in water installations. The component is intended for use in plumbing, irrigation and general water supply tasks where a threaded changeover is required.
The brass construction offers good resistance to corrosion, mechanical wear and common water-condition effects. The precisely machined threads ensure tight engagement with standard 3/4" fittings and with 20 mm hose or pipe terminations, reducing the risk of leaks when correctly installed. Its compact form factor simplifies installation in confined spaces and makes it suitable for retrofitting within existing plumbing or irrigation systems.
Prepare both mating parts by cleaning threads and sealing with appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape if required for the application. Screw the male GZ 3/4" end into the corresponding 3/4" threaded fitting until snug, then attach the 20 mm hose or pipe to the female FI 20×3/4" connection and tighten to specified torque using suitable tools. Inspect joints for leaks and make final adjustments while the system is pressurized within recommended limits.
Use compatible thread sealant or PTFE tape on the 3/4" thread for enhanced leak prevention. Avoid overtightening to prevent thread damage; follow recommended torque values for brass fittings. For potable water systems, ensure materials and sealants conform to local regulations.
