Network Media Converter Allied Telesis AT-SPLX10/I
The Allied Telesis AT-SPLX10/I is a gigabit Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical module designed to provide flexible, full-duplex Ethernet connectivity. This hot-swappable module supports 1000LX cabling technology with LC connectors and operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm, enabling reliable data transmission over single-mode fiber for distances up to 10,000 meters and a line rate of up to 1250 Mbit/s.
The AT-SPLX10/I offers easy installation through a hot-pluggable SFP form factor, broad compatibility with SFP slots on SFP-capable switches and media converters, and support for long-distance links thanks to its 1310 nm wavelength and 1000LX standard. Its LC connector ensures stable optical connections suitable for backbone and campus links.
Power down the host device if required by the vendor, insert the AT-SPLX10/I module into an available SFP slot until it seats firmly, and then connect LC-terminated single-mode fiber cables to the module’s transmit and receive ports. Configure the host device’s interface settings as needed for gigabit full-duplex operation and verify link status through the device management interface or LEDs. The module is hot-swappable on most SFP-capable equipment, but follow the host device’s guidelines for hot-plugging.
Use single-mode fiber with appropriate attenuation and quality for links approaching the 10 km limit, verify compatibility with the host device’s SFP transceiver list, and inspect LC connectors for cleanliness before insertion to ensure reliable optical performance.
