The ALLNET ALL-SG8208PD is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch with eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports that support auto-negotiation (NWay) and full duplex operation. Designed for straightforward network expansion, the switch enables micro-segmentation of larger networks to improve performance for bandwidth-demanding multimedia and imaging applications. It also supports easy migration from 10/100 Mbps to 1000 Mbps networks and includes a MAC address table of 4000 entries for reliable frame forwarding.

Advantages

This switch combines high-speed Gigabit connectivity with PoE pass-through functionality, offering both PD (Powered Device) and PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) capabilities in a single unit. Four PSE ports can supply power to connected devices while the unit can receive power on its PD port from an upstream PSE, simplifying cabling by carrying data and power over CAT5e or better twisted-pair cables.
