ALLNET ALL4762-INDU is an SFP (mini-GBIC) fiber optic transceiver designed for single-channel gigabit fiber links. The module supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and plugs into SFP ports on switches, media converters and industrial networking equipment. It is built in a silver metal housing, is MSA compliant and accepts a 3.3 V supply (max 3.45 V). The transceiver meets CE, FCC and RoHS standards and is intended for fiber uplinks where a compact, hot-pluggable SFP solution is required.
The ALL4762-INDU provides hot-pluggable operation and compact mini-GBIC form factor suitable for dense installations. Its industrial temperature rating and metal housing contribute to stable physical performance in demanding environments. Compliance with common standards ensures interoperability with SFP-enabled switches and devices, while support for gigabit speeds enables standard 1 Gbit/s Ethernet links over fiber.
Insert the ALLNET ALL4762-INDU into an empty SFP slot on a compatible switch, router or media converter while the host device is powered on or off, as the module supports hot-plug operation. Connect the appropriate LC fiber patch cable to the module’s optical interface, observing correct transmit/receive orientation. Verify that the host device recognizes the transceiver and configures the port for 1 Gbit/s operation. Ensure the supply voltage to the host SFP slot conforms to the 3.3 V requirement.
Handle the transceiver by the metal housing and avoid touching the optical connector endfaces. Use dust caps when the module is not connected and perform endface cleaning before making fiber connections. Install and remove the module according to the host device manufacturer’s guidance to ensure reliable operation in industrial and commercial networks.
