Auto battery charger Ansmann Ladegeräte 1001-0023
Auto battery charger Ansmann Ladegeräte 1001-0023
The ANSMANN ACS110 automatic charger is designed for 1–10 cell NiMH or NiCd battery packs with nominal cell voltages from 1.2 V up to 12.0 V. The charger detects the number of cells and adapts the charging voltage accordingly. It supports an optional pre-discharge cycle before switching to charging and provides automatic cut-off at end of charge with -deltaV detection, then switching to trickle charge. The unit is intended for worldwide mains use (100–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz) and includes short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection. ANSMANN supplies a 3-year warranty for this model.
The device offers automatic cell detection and voltage adjustment to simplify charging of mixed packs, an optional pre-discharge function, and visible LED indicators for charging status (flashing green), discharging (steady yellow) and fault conditions (flashing red). Charging current is 800 mA with a discharge current of 150–200 mA. Multiple connector options are included for flexible battery connection and the charger is compact and suitable for global mains voltages.
Connect the charger to mains power (100–240 V AC). Select and attach the appropriate output connector to the battery pack using the supplied adapter cable (Tamiya socket, crocodile clips or one of the eight standard output plugs). If required, enable the pre-discharge function; after pre-discharge the charger will automatically switch to the charge cycle. The charger detects the number of cells and applies the correct charging voltage. Monitor the LED: flashing green indicates active charging, steady yellow indicates discharging, and flashing red indicates an error. When fully charged the LED stays green and the charger will switch to trickle charge.
Use the supplied connectors and observe correct polarity when connecting the battery pack. Avoid charging damaged or swollen cells. For long-term storage, keep batteries at a moderate state of charge and use the charger’s trickle function to maintain full packs. Ensure adequate ventilation and operate within the stated mains voltage range.
