The APC NetShelter WX AR118SM is a side-mount wall rack for 19-inch IT and network equipment with 18U of internal height. It supports mounting devices up to 835 mm deep and is delivered fully assembled. The cabinet includes lockable perforated front and rear doors, removable side panels for increased access, pre-cut cable openings at top and bottom, and two accessory channels for tool-free mounting of PDUs and cable management accessories. The enclosure is 1037 mm deep overall (bracket + rack 664 mm protrusion), 889 mm high, 600 mm wide and comes in a black finish. The standard factory warranty is five years.

Mount the enclosure to a suitable load-bearing wall using the included wall mounting bracket following site structural requirements. Adjust the vertical rackmount rails in 6 mm steps to the correct position for your 19" equipment and slide devices into place up to the maximum supported depth of 835 mm. Route cables through the pre-treated openings at the top or bottom and secure PDUs and cable management accessories using the included accessory channels for tool-free mounting. Lock the front and rear perforated doors to restrict access when required. Remove or reinstall the side panels from inside the cabinet to improve access during installation or maintenance.

Usage recommendations

Install the rack on a structurally rated wall and verify the wall anchors and supporting hardware are rated for the combined weight of the enclosure plus installed equipment.
