Description

APC Easy Rack ER8822 is an EIA-310 standard, pre-assembled freestanding IT enclosure designed for datacenter and server environments. The cabinet provides 48U of usable mounting height in a wide (800 mm) and deep (1200 mm) format to accommodate high-density converged IT equipment and deep devices. The rack ships with roof, side panels, levelling feet, casters, mounting hardware and four PDU mounting brackets, and is supplied without a bottom panel. Static load rating is 1200 kg and dynamic load rating is 600 kg; the enclosure is finished in black and can be delivered fully assembled or unassembled for onsite assembly.

Advantages

The ER8822 combines increased width and depth to provide extra space for cable management and vertical accessories while keeping standard EIA-310 front equipment mounting. Ventilated doors with 81% perforation support airflow for denser deployments. Integrated vertical 1U mounting spaces adjacent to the standard u-spaces allow installation of vertical accessories or removal for 1U components. The rack is compatible with APC/Schneider EcoStruxure IT for remote infrastructure monitoring and is designed for quick deployment with included castors, levelling feet and mounting hardware.

How to use

Position the freestanding APC Easy Rack on a level surface and use the castors to move it into place; once located, fit the levelling feet to stabilise the enclosure. Install equipment into the standard EIA-310 u-spaces using the supplied mounting hardware and, if needed, use the adjacent vertical 1U mounting spaces for cable management or vertical accessories.
